Home Learning for 1B and 1C
Our Year 1 bubble is currently in isolation. They are required to stay at home until Monday 5th July 2021.
For our Year 1 classes, home learning will be a mixture of paper based materials and videos as well as links to helpful resources and materials online.
If you have to go into isolation, or if our Year 1 Bubble closes, Miss Crosby and Mrs Balci will post details of the daily learning schedule on the Class Dojo pages. This means that the vast majority of families can access these details through their mobile phone. We would encourage families to upload completed work onto Class Dojo pupil profiles, so that feedback can be provided once work has been completed.
In addition to this, our team in school can do home reading using Zoom or Microsoft Teams. This allows us to assess how well your child is applying the daily phonics lessons taught each school day. Many children enjoy this additional social contact with their teacher.
The daily schedule will include some videos of lessons and will be supplemented with key numeracy work, a class story video and topic related items.
If you are struggling with technology and cannot access Class Dojo or the internet, please contact school as we will try to assist with this.
